The majority of tutoring* at the College Learning Center is conducted on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis. We strive to offer one-on-one tutoring as much as possible; however, students may occasionally be asked to join a small group in order to minimize their wait time and to allow a larger number of students to be served. If a tutor is not available when you arrive, you can ask to be placed on a wait list, and you will be informed of the maximum estimated wait time.
The College Learning Center Fall 2009 walk-in tutoring schedule can be found
HERE.
Please note that schedules are subject to change throughout the semester--check schedule for updates before coming to the Centers.
Please also note that last-minute changes may be necessary in the event of tutor illness. We apologize in advance if this occurs and encourage you to seek assistance as far in advance as possible so that you receive the help you need.
*Tutoring is only provided for the courses listed on the schedule--if you do not see your course, please contact your professor, TA, or the department offering the course for additional assistance.
Note: Our tutors do not deliver prepared lesson plans or lectures during walk-in tutoring, nor do they complete homework problems or proofread/copy-edit papers for tutees.
